Global IT outsourcing company Kaopiz Holdings and Singaporean hardware innovation supplier QuantumTX have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Medical Technology, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration across Vietnam-Singapore aimed at developing “next-generation preventive health solutions for the world’s rapidly growing ageing population.”
The signing took place at the Vietnam – Singapore Tech Connect Forum, held at Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore, in the presence of high-level delegations from both countries.
The collaboration brings together QuantumTX’s proprietary muscle-mitochondria activating technology (MitoCharge) – which aims to deliver benefits of exercise without physical stress – and Kaopiz’s expertise in healthcare software development and IoT engineering.
QuantumTX CEO Ivan Goh said partnering with Kaopiz would “accelerate our next-generation product development while opening the door for MitoCharge technology to reach users across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.”
Together, the two companies would look to co-develop personalised companion health solutions spanning IoT device control software, health data collection and processing platforms, mobile applications and remote device management systems – all purpose-built to “extend and improve healthspan for consumers worldwide.”
Kaopiz Holdings CEO Le Van Hoang said population ageing was a “shared challenge that both Vietnam and Singapore must solve.”
“We believe technology is the key. Kaopiz is committed to leveraging our full expertise in software, AI and IoT to co-develop next-generation healthcare solutions with QuantumTX, serving millions of people worldwide.”
The companies said QuantumTX would contribute “cutting-edge hardware innovation in stress-free muscle activation devices, backed by rigorous scientific R&D and clinical research,” while Kaopiz Holdings offered a “specialised team of software engineers and IoT specialists with a strong delivery track record across the healthcare and medical technology sectors.”
The collaboration spans three strategic pillars:
- IoT Device & Software Development: Kaopiz would research, design, develop and maintain software solutions integrated with QuantumTX’s IoT devices, serving the healthcare and medical rehabilitation sector;
- Technical Support & Information Exchange: Kaopiz would support QuantumTX in embedding advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and Data Analytics into its medical device ecosystem – while both parties collaborate to uphold applicable healthcare data security standards;
- Market Development: Both companies would jointly promote their combined solutions to partners and customers across Vietnam, Singapore and broader international markets – and would co-participate in relevant healthcare technology projects, conferences and exhibitions.
In a statement, Kaopiz Holdings said the MOU reflected a “sustained commitment to expanding our global healthcare technology presence and affirms Vietnam’s growing stature as a high-value, innovation-driven partner on the world stage.”
Kaopiz Global CEO Nguyễn Cong Thanh said the combination of QuantumTX’s hardware technology and Kaopiz’s software capabilities would “create revolutionary healthcare products, serving millions of people in Singapore and around the world.”
