There has been a strong response to Best Practice Software’s inaugural Digital Resilience Grant, with 26 applications received from general practice and primary care organisations across Australia.
The grant represents a $35,000 investment by Best Practice to support research into digital systems in general practice, including improvements in workflow, operational efficiency and digital wellbeing. These areas are critical to improving workforce sustainability, supporting GP retention, and maintaining high-quality patient care.
The successful grant recipient will be announced on September 11.
The initiative is delivered in partnership with the Australian General Practice Research Foundation (AGPRF), the philanthropic arm of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, to ensure a rigorous, transparent, skills based and research-aligned independent assessment process. Applications span a diverse range of initiatives including practical, implementation-focused solutions.
Best Practice’s Chief Executive Officer Craig Hodges said the response reflected the sector’s commitment to strengthening digital maturity and resilience.
