One man is dead and four others were injured after a dawn attack in Wenaiyo Village, Karimui Nomane District, Simbu Province, allegedly linked to accusations of sorcery, police have confirmed.
The incident occurred at about 5:30am on Sunday, 12th July, 2026 at Wenaiyo Village, Ward 3, Karimui LLG, according to a Major Incident Brief issued by Simbu Provincial Police Commander Det. Supt. Maipe Mazuc Rubiang.
