Health NZ has issued a Registration of Interest (ROI) as part of early market engagement for the procurement of Soft Tissue Robot Assisted Surgery Systems (ST RAS) and Associated Accessories, Consumables, and Maintenance Services.
This ROI provides advance notice of an upcoming procurement process – including the establishment of a national supplier panel.
ST RAS systems are surgical platforms that allow surgeons to perform complex, minimally invasive procedures through small incisions.
A supplier briefing is set to be held to present the scope, key requirements and indicative procurement approach.
The supplier briefing will be held on 3 July 2026 at 10:00am (NZT).
Suppliers wishing to attend are required to register their interest via email by 30 June 2026.
Following registration, suppliers would be provided with meeting details.
The ROI opened on June 24 and closes on June 30 at 5pm.
