PNG Police Chief calls for Pacific treaty to fight transnational crime

Papua New Guinea Police Commissioner David Manning has called for a regional Pacific treaty to strengthen the fight against transnational organised crime, warning that existing security arrangements are too often ad hoc and must be replaced with stronger Pacific-led mechanisms.
