The Bogia people of Madang were congratulated last week for their initiative in expanding PNG’s beef production.
The Prime Minister, Mr Somare, said 1400 people in eight villages at the Bogia area had set up a major cash-producing enterprise wholly owned by them.
He was speaking at the official opening of the Yakuasa cattle ranch near Bogia on August 10.
