Australian health technology company Magentus has been named to TIME and Statista’s World’s Top HealthTech Companies list for the second consecutive year.
The 2026 list is based on an assessment of performance, reputation and digital reach across thousands of health technology companies worldwide and includes a number of Australian companies.
Magentus was included in the inaugural list in 2025, when it received a “Very High” rating in the Health Information & Management category and was one of a small number of Australian companies included.
The company operates across Australia, the UK and Ireland, providing technology spanning clinical systems, practice management, health informatics, patient safety and interoperability, with its systems used across areas including pathology, radiology, oncology and specialist practice.
Magentus CEO Rachael Powell said the second consecutive appearance reflected consistency in the company’s work.
“Confidence in healthcare technology is hard-won. One year can be a strong year. Two consecutive years suggest continuity,” Ms Powell said.
“This recognition is one measure of the consistency we work to earn over time.”
Magentus chief operating officer Martin Hayden said healthcare organisations were making technology decisions that could shape services for years.
“Independent recognition for a second consecutive year provides another signal of the capability, continuity and commitment organisations look for in a long-term partner,” he said.
A number of other Australian companies made the list, including Harrison.ai, Helfie.AI, Mable, Magentus, Healthengine, MedAdvisor, Lenexa Medical, WearOptimo, Human Health and Coviu Global.
