You can now take greater control of your search preference.
A new feature from Google, called Google preferred search, aims to allow users to indicate which sources you would like preferenced when searching.
For Croakey readers, that means our articles are more likely to appear in the “Top Stories” section when a news-oriented search query is detected, and highlighted with a “preferred” badge. The article or page still needs to be relevant to the search.
How to set Croakey as a preferred source
We’ve implemented an easy way to select croakey.org as a preferred news source.
You will see a button placed on the top right of our homepage and on each article page.
Clicking the button will take you to the search preferences page where you can enter croakey.org to your preferred search list.
Preferencing Croakey is another way of helping to support us, by demonstrating the value of independent media – and also ensuring you keep connected with our news.
