Healthcare booking platform Goto.health has announced the appointment of Adam Flynn to its advisory board, a move it says adds senior legal and regulatory expertise as the company accelerates growth across Australia.
Mr Flynn brings more than 20 years of legal experience, including over seven years as senior legal counsel for the Australian Digital Health Agency.
His experience spans some of Australia’s most significant digital health initiatives, including the My Health Record system and the rollout of electronic prescribing for Australians.
Goto.health CEO and co-founder Jakomi Mathews said the appointment came at a time when health – and in particular the use of health data – was front of mind for many Australian consumers.
“Adam’s deep expertise across digital health governance and regulation closely aligns with Goto.health’s patient-first mission to improve transparency and empower patients to control their own health data,” Mr Mathews said.
