The “Go Healthy with Taiwan 2026” Global Proposal Campaign – which aims to position Taiwan as a leading global partner for health innovation – is open for applications until August 5.
The competition offers US$30,000 to the each of the top three winning teams. Taiwan aims to strengthen the international presence of its health and wellness industries and play a pivotal role in advancing health innovation on the global stage.
Last year NSW wearable biosensing technology company Loop Healthcare was one of 21 semi-finalists in the 2025 Go Healthy with Taiwan campaign.
Three of the top six proposal winners were in the Smart Healthcare category last year.
From Ukraine – War-time Medical Network: SafeNet uses Taiwan switches and Wi-Fi in First Lviv Territorial Medical Union for uninterrupted hospital networks during war, strengthening telemedicine and digital resilience.
From Switzerland -Solar Wearable Medical: Perovskite solar wearable medical project partners with Taiwan materials and equipment firms to develop self-powered health monitors and cross-national supply chains.
From Indonesia – Smart material and infant station: Digital upgrade of Posyandu with Taiwan baby scales, BP monitors, foetal heart meters, and medical tablets, aiming to cover 90,000 stations in 7 years.
The campaign is organised by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, TAITRA.
Under this year’s theme, “Designing Healthier Futures Together,” the initiative invites government agencies, legal entities, enterprises, and institutions worldwide to submit innovative application proposals that integrate Taiwan’s strengths in smart healthcare, sports technology, and high-end bicycles to create health solutions that can be implemented internationally and “co-create a new paradigm for healthier futures”.
President & CEO of TAITRA Simon Wang said this year’s campaign will be paired with a series of international trade shows and business-opportunity events to help Taiwanese enterprises build deeper connections with global buyers, investors, and startup teams.
Last year, “Go Healthy with Taiwan” attracted 638 proposals from 55 countries.
