Cricket Australia and WA Cricket have signed on as launch partners for a new workplace telehealth service from Perth-based digital health company Hola Health.
Hola Wellness for Business provides employees with 24/7 access to healthcare through the Hola Health app, including telehealth consultations with AHPRA-registered doctors.
The company says the service is designed particularly for organisations with staff working irregular hours, travelling frequently or working remotely.
Cricket Australia and WA Cricket are the first organisations announced as partners for the service, providing their staff and personnel with access to Hola Health’s services.
Hola Health co-founder and CEO Lenin Rajendran said the company was looking to combine its existing digital healthcare services with workplace wellness.
“This is where technology, workplace wellness and healthcare come together: always-on care built for modern, fast-moving and high-performance environments,” Mr Rajendran said.
“While our work with elite sporting institutions demonstrates the platform’s power in action, Hola Wellness for Business is built to help any organisation support its people – delivering timely, accessible healthcare support for employees wherever and whenever they need it.”
Cricket Australia CCO Ed Sanders said the organisation supported Hola Health’s aim of improving access to healthcare.
“Our partnership will help ensure our staff has access to Hola Health’s services as they build a model that benefits all Australians,” Mr Sanders said.
WA Cricket general manager of people and culture Carla Brayn said the organisation was pleased to be one of the service’s early partners.
“Our staff are fortunate to be able to benefit directly from their world-class services, and we look forward to a strong and lasting partnership,” Ms Brayn said.
Hola Health said it plans to expand the service into other sporting codes and enterprise organisations, with additional partnerships already in development.
