
Minister for Works and Highways Peter Tsiamalili Jr says the National Government is ensuring Papua New Guinean businesses play a greater role in delivering major infrastructure projects across the country.
Addressing community leaders and stakeholders during the launch of the Sisimakam–P’nyang Access Road, Mr Tsiamalili said government policy requires 40 percent of contracts on major infrastructure projects to be awarded to local contractors.
