Fly Out Fly In
A lot of our leaders complain about the resource sector’s fly in, fly out practices. But looks like some have changed their minds and think it’s OK when it applies to them. Seems we have a couple of officials who leave the office on a Thursday lunchtime flight and don’t return to the office till Monday afternoon. Makes for a pretty short week and an awful lot of cheques waiting to be signed. And the problem is only going to get worse in 2028 when we have a team in the NRL and the Chiefs have an overseas fixture every fortnight? Of course our bold leaders will have to give their personal support to our national team!
