New Zealand virtual care provider Ka Ora Telecare has launched a redesigned website and online booking system developed by OctansCare.
The new platform includes a customised booking pathway incorporating eligibility checks and patient screening to direct patients to appropriate Ka Ora services.
Ka Ora operates a model in which patients must meet particular eligibility requirements, with booking pathways differing according to individual circumstances.
OctansCare said it worked with Ka Ora to incorporate those requirements into the online booking process, as well as improving navigation and accessibility across desktop and mobile devices.
The project also included a redesign of the Ka Ora website aimed at making information and services easier for patients to find.
OctansCare executive lead Malik Rizwan said the project focused on how patients interacted with healthcare services online.
“This project was about understanding how patients interact with healthcare services and designing an experience that feels simple, intuitive, and welcoming from the very first click,” Mr Rizwan said.
Ka Ora general manager Hayley McConnell said the organisation was satisfied with the new website and praised OctansCare’s work on the project.
“Their team consistently delivered on time, communicated clearly, and made the entire process seamless from start to finish,” Ms McConnell said.
“Their commitment to delivering a high-quality outcome was evident at every stage, and they approached this significant project with a genuine focus on achieving the best result for our organisation.”
