The Enga Provincial Government (EPG) convened a special Assembly Meeting this morning, unanimously calling on the Police Commissioner David Manning to rescind his directive to transfer outgoing Provincial Police Commander Chief Superintendent Steven Harris to West New Britain Province.
Enga governor Sir Peter Ipatas addressed the public at the Provincial Headquarters (Ipatas Center) this afternoon conveying the PEC’s stand demanding the police hierarchy to rescind its decision to transfer Chief Superintendent Harris as it is not in the best interest of the province.
