
The Papua New Guinea coffee industry supports about 3 million people and around 400,000 are rural households and small-scale farmers who depend on the coffee crop as their sole source of income.
These rural households get their cash from coffee buyers and processors after they get paid from selling the dried beans to the exporters. Today the price of coffee is good.
