Former Lae Snax Tigers premiership-winning hooker and current East New Britain Agmark Gurias hooker Emmanuel Alfred has been named in the Papua New Guinea Prime Minister’s XIII Men’s squad to face Australia on Saturday, October 3, at Santos National Football Stadium.
Alfred continues his steady rise through the ranks after switching codes from rugby union to rugby league in 2023. He launched his league career with the Goroka Lahanis before joining his hometown side, the Lae Snax Tigers, where he tasted premiership success.
