Aged care and disability services provider Valmar Support Services has consolidated six legacy IT systems onto a single platform covering workforce and financial management.
Valmar provides disability, aged care and community transport services to about 1,000 clients across the ACT and regional NSW and employs more than 600 people.
The organisation has moved its staffing, payroll and finance functions onto Workday, replacing separate systems and manual processes.
The deployment was completed in May 2026 with technology partner Kainos.
Valmar chief executive officer Tim Swan said the organisation needed a more flexible platform as it continued to grow in the aged care and disability sectors.
“As we continue to grow within a complex and regulated environment, we need a flexible and scalable modern foundation that allows us to operate more efficiently. Ultimately, we want to focus on our core commitment to help clients lead fuller lives and realise their true potential,” Mr Swan said.
“Workday has already demonstrated early benefits since our go live earlier this year, particularly by demonstrating how user-friendly the system is to adopt and by eliminating the manual, siloed processes that were slowing us down.”
Workday Australia and New Zealand vice president and managing director Jo-Anne Ruhl said aged care and disability providers were operating in a rapidly changing environment.
“As aged care and disability services undergo significant transformation, providers like Valmar need tools that can scale with them and adapt to a rapidly changing environment,” Ms Ruhl said.
“Workday helps organisations like Valmar reduce administrative burden so their people can focus on delivering the support services that change and enhance lives.”
