The largest expenditure item, in the 2026 Supplementary Budget, is the Government’s fuel assistance package.
Treasurer Ian Ling-Stuckey when presenting the Supplementary Budget in Parliament said this is the package that has kept fuel prices frozen at March levels while fuel costs jumped dramatically in countries around PNG.
