Irish company GreenCross Publishing has signed a deal to bring accredited continuing medical education (CME) to healthcare professionals in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through its online education platform MediLearning.
The deal will see MediLearning work with UAE-based DataFlow to provide accredited courses through its TrueProfile.io credential verification and professional development platform.
Under the memorandum of understanding (MoU), MediLearning will provide at least 70 Dubai Health Authority (DHA)-accredited CPD/CME courses through the TrueProfile.io marketplace.
The courses will be available to verified doctors, dentists, nurses and pharmacists across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. The partnership aims to make it easier for healthcare professionals to meet regulatory obligations and maintain their professional skills.
By integrating accredited education into the TrueProfile.io platform, the companies are seeking to connect professional credential verification with ongoing learning and compliance.
GreenCross Publishing Managing Director Graham Cooke said the partnership would help close the gap between learning and licensing for healthcare professionals.

DataFlow Chief Strategy Officer Amit Gupta said the partnership reflected the company’s strategy to expand beyond professional verification.

MediLearning launched in 2012 to provide CME for doctors in Ireland. Since then, it has expanded into the nursing and pharmacist sectors.
For healthcare professionals in Ireland, MediLearning offers more than 110 modules across more than 30 clinical specialties.
Content is accredited by the relevant regulatory authorities, including the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
For hospitals and healthcare groups, MediPro provides a compliance management solution with real-time tracking, automated alerts, enrolment oversight, certificate management and workforce reporting.
